Hello Matt and Steve,

Just very quickly, I would like to tell you how happy I was to try your pickled beans. :-) I have a thing for pickled beans and peppers and especially HOT pickled beans and peppers.

I love that you guys trim the stem of your beans!!  I am always biting on the stem or biting off stems and for once!!! No stem to hassle with!

Haha, this is a funny note yes, but I couldn't help but praise you.

Thanks for the nice surprise,

Marielle

PS, the flavour is great too!=

A unique twist on a classic Caesar...

Hey Matt,

Just wanted to thank you for the samples of the BnOlive, Extreme Bean and Rimmer you provided me with a few weeks back.

The Caesar competition was held in Guelph last Thursday at East Side Mario's and I just happened to have won.
I spread the word about your product to the judges and told them it was the secret ingredient.
One judge actually asked if he could have another bean, followed by asking me if he could confiscate the jar.
I let him.

A unique twist on a classic Caesar...

"The Big Smoke"

1.5 oz Tanqueray Gin
"Shakey Shakey" of Lea & Perrins

Pinch of Rimmer
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of fresh cracked Pepper
Splash of 'Brine' from the BnOlive jar
Mott's Clamato Juice
Garnish with 1x skewer consisting of 1x BnOlive, 1x Extreme Bean and 1x chunk of beef jerky.

Bean lover from Cole Harbour

Hi I just bought my first bottle of Extreme Bean and I ate the entire bottle in 1 day…I kept going back for more.

I noticed whenever I ordered a cesar when I was out they were coming back with a bean instead of a piece of celery. I was pumped!!

Love them and i'm now hooked.

Bnolive Martini

I think i have a handle on your olives. My girlfriend
picked up a jar figuring I'd like them. I saw a piece of bean jammed in an
olive, smiled politely, and stuck the jar in the back of the fridge... then
curiosity got the better of me and I tried a few different bottles of gin...
here's where I've decided to go with your product:

3 1/2 oz Tanqueray No. 10 gin
1/2 oz dry vermouth
1 tsp olive brine (shake the jar in order to capture some
of the garlic and spice bits)
1 B'nOlive

Pour all ingredients over ice, stir (shaking actually
reduces the alcoholic content of the drink (seriously)), place B'nOlive in
large martini glass, pour, enjoy, repeat.

I've used some olives that had habanero slices in the
jar, they were a tad too hot for a martini. I've experimented with many other
stuffed olives, but I've yet to find another olive that beats yours...
congrats!

Paul.

response to "dreams come true"

Hi Crystal,

Thanks for the awesome comments. We are happy you enjoy our products. We do not have plans to do a Cucumber pickle in the near future but we are launching our new Extreme Bean Garlic and Dill which has a similar taste profile as a traditional pickle but with a Matt and Steve's spin. Look for it in your grocery store soon.

Thanks for the support!!Matt

dreams come true

Your products are absolutely amazing! your beans and b'nOlive are the best thing I have ever tasted in my life. I was wondering if you would ever consider doing a pickle too? I mean I literally go thru a jar of beans and olive"s a week and if you had pickles you would make my dream come true!!

Thanks,Crystal

I've died and gone to heaven

Hi Matt and Steve

I've died and gone to heaven. I've always thought that your beans were the best creation ever (I'm able to enjoy them now with a glass of vodka - when I was pregnant I had to make to with soda water). However, yesterday I was at Sobey's replenishing my bean stock, when, low and behold - I saw your olives! I saw those two trusted faces and thought, "I have to try these". Well, I brought them home, opened the jar, and my husband walked in. He said, "Oh cool, they make olives now? Let me try them.". Well, violence almost ensued. You see, there is an understanding in the house. If there is only one jar of beans left ... my husband IS NOT to touch them! So since I only bought one jar of olives (huge mistake), I got very defensive, guarded the jar and made sure that he only tried ONE. After he took his, I ripped the jar from his grasp and tried one of my own. Pure and absolute heaven! You just can't find olives like this anywhere! The combination of the olivey goodness, mixed with the distinctive spiciness of your Extreme beans - I have seriously died and gone to heaven. Never have I had an olive this good - not even on a cruise ship, where they shake your martini table side while dancing and telling a joke, and provide a delicious assortment of stuffed olives. Nothing can compare to the recipe that you have mastered.

So thanx a ton ... I'm a customer for life.
